Our custom cellular monitoring systems allow for 24/7 real-time monitoring of lease operations.
Tank levels, line pressure, and pump speed are just a few of the variable that can be monitored with these systems.
Electric Motors
We stock a variety of new & used electric motors. If we don't have the motor you need in stock, we can probably find it for you.
We also offer repair and rewinding of all types of electric motors.
Electric Motor Rewinding
Yost Electric has a complete in house electric motor rewind shop capable of rewinding motors up to 200 horsepower.
We can remove a damaged motor from your location and set one of our loaner motors in its place until your motor has been repaired.
VFD For Oil Field

A Variable Speed Drive allows the user to infinitely control the speed of an electric motor with the push of a button.
A Variable Speed Drive can also provide huge benefits for fluid transfer pumps.
Variable Speed Drives
A variable speed drive(VFD) can provide a verifiable pay back on your initial investment through reduced energy usage. In addition, a VFD can have a significant reduction on the wear and tear of mechanical parts, thus providing even faster pay back on the investment.

New Electric Motors
We have a large selection of new electric motors in stock ready for pickup, delivery or installation at your location by our qualified electricians.
If we do not have the motor you need in stock, we can special order any motor to fit your application.
We can usually find replacement motors for older equipment where OEM replacements are no longer available.
Be sure to ask us how you can increase efficiency and extend motor life by installing a variable frequency drive for you electric motor.
Used Motors
We also have a large selection of used, rebuilt & rewound motors as well as field ran motors available for sale.
We have a full in house rewind shop capable of rewinding motors from 0 to 200 horsepower.
Salt Water Transfer Pumps
We offer ready to install salt water pump packages, complete with pump, motor, shaft couplings and base.
We can also special order any size or style of pump & motor to fit your application.

Motor Installation
We stock and install motor sheaves, belts and shaft couplings, as well as mounting rails and bolts.
Proper installation and alignment of these items can increase motor bearing, belt and sheave life.
Custom Pump Controls
Using a variety of controls such as Variable Speed Drives, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Cellular Monitoring Systems, Tank Level and Pressure Switches, Transducers, etc., we can design controls to specifically fit your custom application.
We often design controls for multiple pump systems.
Motor Controls
In addition to motor sales, we can offer you any number of custom motor controls to fit your specific motor application.
We stock and install variable speed drives, programmable logic controllers, as well as standard line starter pump panels.
